Candidates should have Master's Degree from any University in Tamil Nadu or equivalent qualification with less than 50% score any one of the relevant subject. B.T./B.Ed or equivalent qualification from any university from Tamil Nadu State and Tamil must be a Part-I or Part-II in Intermediate or Higher Secondary school.
Age limit
Minimum Age 18 Years as on 01.07-2014 and No Maximum Limit for SCs,SC(A)s,STs, MBCs/DCs, BCs, BCMs and Destitute Widows of all Castes.
Others : Candidates must be between 18 to 30 for Open market and between 18 to 40 for eacher employed in recognized Aided Secondary Schools or Higher Secondary Schools.
Selection Process:
TNPSC DEO Selection process will be conducted in 3 stages with 1:50 ratio for main written exam. Preliminary Exam will be conducted for screening, Based on merit of Preliminary Examination candidate will be eligible for Main Written Exam and Oral Test(Interview).
